Madonna di Campiglio is one of the most well-known and exclusive resorts in Italy, located in the heart of the Dolomites in Trentino with extensive ski potential. The resort is long established and is set in a pretty wooded valley. Many of the facilities and lifts have been modernised to provide an excellent ski holiday. Madonna includes the Canalone Miramonti, a black piste where World Cup races are held it is 600m long, a vertical drop of 185m and an average gradient of 66%. Pinzolo is located nearby Madonna di Campiglio in the Italian Dolomites. Pinzolo ski resort belongs to the regional touristic association of Madonna di Campiglio - Pinzolo Val Rendena - Folgarida-Marilleva. It is a small hamlet with its own ski area of slightly more than 25 kilometers of ski slopes. Canazei - Canazei is a sizeable, bustling and pretty village consisting of old rustic buildings and nice little shops. The resort is set in Sella Rondas most heavily wooded section of mountains.
