The ski domain is split into three areas with a bus service linking all three and the pistes are fairly uncrowded for such a well-known resort, so expect plenty of good skiing! There are over 140 km of pistes available with 56 runs and a good modern infrastructure consisting of 51 lifts.

More than ski

Unlike many modern resorts, the town itself is very attractive with many boutiques, restaurants and bars. Corso Italia is full of designer chic shops. Many people to come to the resort simply to shop, eat and be seen – a recent article quotes that nearly 70% of Italians don’t come here to ski! For those who are tagging along on a ski holiday, other off-piste activities include a swimming pool, saunas, health spa, art gallery, cinema and indoor tennis. In high season, the resort offers a lively social scene.

How to get there

Cortina is easy to access from Venice Marco Polo airport with a mere 2 hr transfer time.
